I'm currently working with an Advanced Technology solutions provider who are currently going through an exciting period of growth within their US-based Industry 4.0 function, and are looking for experienced Smart Factory Systems Specialists to join them in their Atlanta & Detroit locations.

The Smart Factory Systems Specialists will be responsible for the design, build and implementation of Industry 4.0 and Connected Factory solutions for Manufacturing organizations. This is a highly technical position that requires you to work directly with customers to develop solutions as well as configuring interfaces and data collection tools (oftentimes with third-party applications).

Key skills & experience:

  • Experience operating as a technical Engineer within the Industry 4.0 space, helping to build and implement relevant solutions for manufacturing organizations
  • Must have Ignition Gold Certification and have experience delivery solutions that use Ignition
  • Ability to work closely with customers to build credibility and create customized solutions that meet expectations on both sides
  • Experience with IIoT architectures (Hybrid Cloud, MQTT and device orchestration)
  • Have experience leading on implementation projects with strong understanding of timeline and delivery expectations

This role will be working on a hybrid basis in Atlanta, GA or Detroit, MI. Relocation support if available for applicants not in a commutable distance.

I'm currently working with an Advanced Technology solutions provider who are currently going through an exciting period of growth within their US-based Industry 4.0 function, and are looking for an experienced leader to help drive forward the business unit.

The Industry 4.0 Manager will work directly with the Partner to lead all operations within the business unit and is responsible for overseeing all Industry 4.0 & Connected Factory programs from concept through to implementation. This will be a customer-focused role, helping to guide all solutions and projects as well as identifying business development opportunities in the form of expanding existing relationships and maximizing revenue for the business. This role will manager a team of experienced Industry 4.0 Engineers and will be on hand to provide them with development and mentoring within the role as well as working to assign project responsibilities within the team.

Key skills & experience:

  • Demonstrable experience in the Industry 4.0 space which includes the development and implementation of relevant solutions
  • Ignition (by Inductive Automation) Gold Certified with experience managing Ignition projects
  • Must have strong client and stakeholder management skills (includes process management, managing expectations, negotiations and conflict resolution)
  • Ability to develop existing clients and identify business development opportunities to drive increased revenue for the business unit

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience in an IT Management role, ideally with 3+ years operating as a leader within a Manufacturing or Oil & Gas (or similar) environment - we're looking for a rockstar!
  • Have a background working with large, remote infrastructure operations as well as Networking & Cloud technologies
  • Experience designing and implementing asset management tools

I'm currently working with a US-based Food & Beverage manufacturing company who are looking for an experienced MES Specialist to join them on a permanent basis who will be responsible for leading the MES Operations across several sites.

They have been using Ignition (by Inductive Automation) platform for the past 5+ years so are well setup in this regard; however, the role of the MES Specialist will be to develop additional functionality, ensure continuous improvement and use data to leverage enhancements in new areas for the business. This role is going to be more on the operational side than software, and will be working with senior leadership to help guide strategic decisions and change management for the systems.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Must have demonstrable experience working in the manufacturing space and have a good understanding of how a manufacturing facility operates and its processes.
  • Need to have strong communication skills. Will be communicating with folks on the shop floor (some of whom English is not their first language) all the way up to the CEO.
  • Experience working with Ignition platform is ideal, however, are willing to provide training to individuals who have used other, similar, systems
  • Should have strong cross functional leadership background, with the ability to pull various teams together for certain
