One of my public sector clients are currently looking for a Business Analyst to join their team on a hybrid basis with travel to site in Wiltshire. Active DV clearance is preferred for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse business problems/opportunities and conduct research to understand work-flows, processes, and technology.
- Identify areas for improvement, evaluate change impacts, and define success measures.
- Document and analyse business needs, supporting service design, development, and testing.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and lead small-to-medium projects independently.
- Apply business modelling techniques to optimise services and report on system quality.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience working with MVP and scope management.
- Proficiency in business analysis techniques, requirements management, and process optimisation.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Demonstrable experience working within an ITIL3 aligned Service area.
- Requirements Author experience, URD, SRD, Solution Specs, SDPs, Test & Acceptance Strategies, ideally in a Defence Capability setting.

About the role:
The Product Delivery Lead plays a key role in delivering high-value analytics products that drive business outcomes across areas like Revenue Growth Management, supply chain, people development, and sustainability. The immediate focus is on delivering a new Promotional Analysis Product leveraging advanced analytics and AI to optimise trade promotions and ROI.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of data products using Agile methodologies
- Ensure resource allocation, team coordination, and timely delivery
- Monitor delivery processes, risks, blockers, and dependencies
- Provide regular status updates to stakeholders
- Collaborate with Scrum Master, Product Owner, and development teams
- Oversee product improvements and stability
- Track budgets, timelines, and scope changes
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience delivering data & analytics products, ideally within Revenue Growth Management (RGM)
- Strong knowledge of the digital product lifecycle and Agile methodologies
- Experience with RGM-related datasets (sales, promotions, financials)
- Knowledge of : SQL, Python, R, Power BI, ADO, Jira
- Understanding of predictive modelling and machine learning
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
