Director of Business Development - Public Policy Consulting (Technology) - Washington, DC (Hybrid)

I have been engaged by the world's leading public policy consultancy focused on technology on a search for a development leader. The New Business team is the “tip of the spear” for our clients Go-To-Market strategy. Individuals in this team are tasked with securing new logos.

 

Role: Director of Business Development 

Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid - 2 Days)

Compensation: $200-$250k Base + Commission (TBC)

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Convert viable prospects into active clients owning the full sales conversation and negotiation 
    process, collaborating with Practice Directors and Client Services peers, to ensure an effective 
    handover
  • Continually build a pipeline of opportunities to deliver against targets such as total contract value 
    and in year revenue
  • Leads the development of proposals or responses to bids and presents high quality pitches for 
    complex and/or high value opportunities

 

Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience of delivering successful revenue growth
  • Experience selling disruptive new products and services 
  • Extensive experience working alongside business leadership and consulting teams to leverage 
    their respective personal brand channels and grow revenue
  • Analytical and financial acumen in building and delivering successful new business development
    models, with associated risk parameters
  • A compelling communicator or storyteller. Able to convey gravitas and exert influence with 
    internal and external audiences, clients, and partners.

Role: SAP Partner Manager / Director
Length: Initial 12-24 month engagement

One of my world renowned FTSE 100 clients are currently looking for a SAP Partner Manager / Director to join their team on a remote basis with adhoc travel to site in London. They are interested in SAP Partner Manager / Directors with experience of working on SAP Programmes on a global scale. Prior experience managing SI partners as part of a SAP programme is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the single point of contact for partner integration
  • Implement shared OKRs, monthly scorecards, and joint success metrics
  • Monitor partner performance and delivery quality
  • Support Integration Champions within each partner
  • Escalate unresolved dependencies and decision delays
  • Promote a "One Team" culture through shared branding and recognition

Key Competencies:

Surrey

Role: SAP Junior Test Analyst
Length: Initial 6-month engagement
Location: Predominantly remote - Adhoc travel to site in Surrey

One of my clients are currently looking for a SAP Junior Test Analyst to join their team on a hybrid basis with travel to site in Surrey 1 day per week. They are interested in SAP Junior Test Analysts with experience of working in an Agile environment amongst multi-disciplinary teams.

Key Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a SAP Test Analyst / SAP Junior Test Analyst
  • Good experience with Power BI
  • Prior experience working on SAP Programmes - ideally across core SAP modules such as Finance, SCM, Procurement, HR, Data etc
  • SAP Data Experience, prior experience working/understanding of BI/BW
  • Hands on testing - supporting on SIT, UAT, Migration and Test Cases, Defected management, regression.

A super cool Fintech start up who are disrupting the wealth management/financial advice space are looking to add a Salesforce Developer to their existing Salesforce team. Their mission statement is to make wealth management accessible to everyone in the UK, no matter their financial status and they're hoping you might be able to help them with that mission! They've doubled in size as a business over the last 3 years and they've pretty much reached their limit with configuration so you'll be leveraging code to improve processes such as guided mortgage advice and compliance review.

Key notes on the role below:

  • Strong technical hire, capable of building using APEX and LWCs to take some of the technical responsibilities away from the Product Lead
  • Trusted to act independently and autonomously, without the Product Lead hand holding - must be able to hit the ground running
  • Confidence to challenge the Product Lead on strategy, new processes, products, enhancements etc.
  • Authenticity and ability to gel with the rest of the team is key
  • Salesforce consulting background (highly desirable)
  • Exposure/interest in Omnistudio (desirable)
  • Financial Services experience desirable, but not essential

Location: Mainly remote, with time in office for key meetings, workshops etc (will likely average out at 1/week)

A leading charity who are literally changing and saving lives are seeking a Salesforce Administrator for their data and innovation team. The charity currently leverages Salesforce to manage their supporters (donations, events, fundraising etc) and is seeking further support to manage their growing number of campaigns and engagement.

As the Salesforce Administrator, you will act as the first point of contact for internal users, whilst also dealing with ticket requests daily from their website. Working as part of a team, you'll be responsible for ensuring that data is clean, accurate and up-to-date, as well as representing the team from a data perspective for any projects across the organisation.

This role is a mixture of home working and office based (minimum 2 days/week). The company offer unlimited annual leave, as well as having a 9 day working fortnight policy (every other Friday off).

The successful candidate will be expected to have:

  • 3+ years Salesforce Administration experience.
  • Expert knowledge of Excel and how to manipulate large sets of data.
  • Exposure to Salesforce communities.
  • Salesforce certifications and/Trailhead badges (nice to have).
  • Excellent communication skills.
