Lawrence Harvey is supporting a global powerhouse in the banking industry who are looking for a Data Privacy Manager to lead on regulator engagement and focus on the ownership of the global privacy framework. This is an exciting and unique position to work directly with regulators and lead on global privacy within a brand new team, to grow from the ground-up in Glasgow.
The Role will consist of..
- Focusing on executing activities of the Group DPO Office (such as DPIAs, breach management etc.) and ownership of the global privacy framework
- Working globally across all areas of the financial services institution, setting the framework to correspond with all regulations.
- Implementing controls which relate to different regulations and regulators.
- Conducting quarterly meetings with various regulators, to focus on proactively managing relationships and discuss developments.
- Directly managing matters that require investigation and the subsequent conversations with regulators.
- Growing your own team to support.
Requirements:
- Extensive data protection experience c. 10 years (this is flexible, just a guideline)
- Global experience, ideally hands-on experience working across UK/EU/US.
- Practical experience working with regulators such as the ICO or FCA.
- Worked in a regulated industry such as financial services or insurance.
- Excellent communication skills, working with stakeholders and regulators.
- 3 days a week on-site in Glasgow.

One of my public sector clients are looking for an AI Engineer to join their team on a fully remote basis, this will be on an initial contract until the end of March with a view to extend. Lawrence Harvey are partnering with a highly respected retail organisation that’s embarking on a major Zellis HR & Payroll migration, moving from their on-premise solution to Zellis HCM Cloud.
They’re looking for an experienced HRIS Project Manager to lead this transformation, working closely with Zellis to deliver a seamless migration and ensure a smooth transition for all employees.
This is an Outside IR35 contract role for an initial 6 months, paying £450-500 per day starting in November.
This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week required in East Anglia, unfortunately there is no flexibility on this.
Experience:

A client of ours is actively recruiting for an agnostic ERP Integration Architect to sit between their ERP and CRM. - Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA programmes as a Solution Architect
- Expertise in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG)
